Spice Route traces the ancient maritime trade routes that connected East and West through the medium of scent. The opening is a spice market at noon — cardamom, black pepper, and ginger in sharp, vivid relief. The heart is the cargo hold of a merchant ship: cinnamon bark, clove bud, and nutmeg, warm and slightly sweet, with an edge of camphor. The base is the destination: a warm, enveloping vanilla and benzoin accord, rich and resinous, with sandalwood providing a clean, creamy foundation.
